PDO is back in session. Enrollment is lower than it should be but we usually start low and build up in September and October. We had several go to Kindergarten and some to public school Pre-K and a few that moved far away. We have gained some new families and are happy to welcome them into our PDO family.
I want to thank those of you that have donated items for our program and those that have given us checks to buy what we need. It really helps us out when you help us along. I also want to thank those of you that came for the workday and have come out the week before to help with clean up, hanging blinds, pulling weeds, weed eating, etc. It was such a huge help and made our classrooms and playground look so much better. Dennis, Chris, Mike, Beverly, Jim, Mary, Lucas, Ann, Caleb, and Jude pulled things together at the last minute. We really appreciate you. A special thank you to Alton who has spent so many hours cleaning, organizing, fixing and in general just getting things done that we needed done so badly. He has been a lifesaver. They say “it takes a village” and we have had a great one to help us get started this year.
I am so grateful to be a part of such a great ministry and mission. PDO is not like anything I have ever been a part of and I want to thank you all for giving me this opportunity. I have been here for 25 years and I never want to work anywhere else.
